Show Us Your Motors!

I've come to the conclusion that my sweet spot is 90s' to 2000's cheap Japanese stuff, so I won this on auction in Japan today:

Suits my bank balance, i now realise I dont need to spend a lot to be happy. This is a Nissan Cedric 300LX Premium L Edition with the 3.0 Turbo. 50,000kms, Grade 4.
I really rate Jap cars especially the earlier stuff, I've bought a couple of cars direct from Japan too, I bet this one you've bought is really clean.

Fingers crossed, lucky dip, but I like learning about more obscure stuff. For some reason I just dont get the urge from newer more expensive stuff.

Yeh the anticipation of what you've bought is exciting! With 50k km's and grade 4 and no road salt in Japan (except in the north) i bet the car will be good.
I looked into importing myself recently but the £ to Yen just wasn't good enough, for the cars i'm interested in it'd be no more expensive to buy in the uk without the hassle of importing, but i can understand your reasoning as you're into the obscure models which are probably hard to find here.

Yep, lets see what arrives :) Think this will be something like my 15th or 20th import

Its my backup business plan, I get asked often to import for people but there is not a lot to it, and I cant be bothered with the liability side.

I cant remember if I added this one here too, I got this little JDM Monkey bike a month ago too

So you've imported a lot, a lot more than me anyway. Can you recommend a good website or 2 for Japanese imports? I was browsing this one recently https://www.tc-v.com/

I've settled on Pacific Coast JDM, they don't inspect themselves but I trust them from a transparency point of view.

I think I've done 6 or 7 through them and used random others for the rest but that was some time ago now.

New purchase couple weeks ago, nice little pocket rocket really fun to drive

@Born_2_Kill_83

Looking fresh.
What the grip like on those dubious tyres.
Thanks

Not to bad, I’ll replace with PS4s, had a rear corner spin the other day from a right angled standing launch turning right from some lights. But I’ve done a full launch from standing in the rain and it gripped fine, think the 4wd makes up for it

Spent entire day giving the 360 TLC.

Engine bay cleaned
Glass cleaned inside and out plus repel added
All trims treated with C4 Gteqnic
Hydrophobic wax coating added
Leather cleaned and condition
Carpets hoovered and washed
Wheel wells cleaned
Wheels removed and cleaned
Probably missed something

I’m surprised by how good of condition it is in and certainly not complaining, it has come up fantastic, spotless bodywork and an unmarked interior.

Though I may say it myself but my 360 is in better condition that the one which fetched 100k at Supercar Fest and had under 5000 miles.

Happy it’s now all protected and ready to enjoy for the Summer. :)

@Gibbo - What a thing that 360 is! The engine bay is awesome. Pretty awesome looking garage with the two Ferraris in there. Even when prices of 360’s were really down I don’t think I could have stomached the running costs. Congrats on a lovey motor!
