Thanks Uther.

First time i've toured in the big cat. I've ridden a bike around the Alps many times but it's different in the cat.

Some aspects better- much less Betty Swallocks as it's much more comfortable, aircon helps, but not nearly as visceral as on the bike.

This is what you call a carbon offset from the big cat

Again fresh from the detailer with PPF.

The paint on these is a rough as a badger's a**e and it took a lot of polishing to get it right ( cue the T*RD jokes ) :D

And here's one of the K1600GT near Grindelwald with the Eiger in the background

Wonderful bike, straight 6, 1650CC that carried me over tens of thousands of miles... right up to the point where a prat in a Merc 300 wiped me out and totalled the bike 2 1/2 years ago

Here's my bike, the photo is a bit dull as I took it on an early overcast morning last week. It's standard apart from the seat which has been lowered and the tail tidy. I've already posted it in the bikers thread in the biker sub-forum, didn't realize bikes were ok to be posted in this one.

Sweet - love the sound of a Panagale on full chat.

My back aches just looking at that! :D

As threatened above! A few weeks ago I had www.unique-detail.co.uk undertake a 3 stage paint correction, and apply Titan Vulcan TX155 (which from my research is the best ceramic coating on the market). This was half paid for by the supplying dealer, as the paint work was not what it should be.....

The results are absolutely remarkable - not only have 98% of the blemishes gone to all but the most critical eye (ie with a torch), but the overall look of the car and the way the amazing "Aventurinrot II" (Aventurin Red II) individual colour pops, is remarkable. Oh, and it stays cleaner and is much easier to clean once it is dirty. All in all, incredible job!

Gave the car a very quick wash before work yesterday, literally just a jetwash shampoo (carpro reset) rinse and dry. Just nipped out to get something from the garage and had to take a video as the paintwork just looks amazing still under the garage lights:

Ceramic really does make it easier to make a quick clean look like you've spent hours on it!

Lovely!
Any exhaust plans? Termi?

@Pooh the noise it makes took a little getting used to tbh but i like it now, not sure if the neighbours do though :D

Even though I have a slightly dodgy back it thankfully has been ok with it up to now touch wood <touches own head>, it does get to my wrists a bit after a while. But overall not bad, bearable for short rides.

Thanks! If it throws me no big bills within the 1st year or so of ownership then an exhaust upgrade is something I'll do, Termi or Akrapovic but probably Termi. I'm also weighing up aftermarket mirrors as the standard one's are pretty awful (can't really see behind me) and they don't fold.

Fixed mirrors are a pain tbh. They’re okay until you keep catching yourself on them in the garage.

i had a similar problem with an indicator, caught it walking past and it cracked the fairing, £200+ to replace :(

Yeh the prices that are charged nowadays for some parts really is an eye opener. I know the oem mirrors for my bike are around £200 each, decent aftermarket one's are about £500 a pair.
