Weather was superb here yesterday. Dilemma was go out in the Zed or get kitted up and go out on one of my bikes. Z4 won. Bikes will need to wait until this weekend :D

Front end of the car looked like a bug cemetery when I got back, so she's had a three stage AG wash this morning

I love it, Still to this day looks fantastic, Even though my old Z4 was the most unreliable thing I've ever owned, I still miss it, It was my daily driver, Unless it was raining the roof was down everyday even during the negative degree winter weather, always made that straight six sing, And I'd do it all again.

Yes, I think they do age well in terms of looks. I love mine, few cars are so much fun to own and drive but cost as little as a good E85 to buy and run. My daily is a 2021 M340i Touring but I still take the Z4 out at every opportunity and whilst obviously nowhere near as quick as the M340, its still a hoot to drive, the noise from the straight six with the roof down is superb. I know what you mean by top down in negative degree weather - I am exactly the same! Heated seats on, fan heater on, gloves and a beanie hat in the middle of December on a dry, crisp day. Do get some funny looks though :D

Last couple of evenings been changing all the brakes on the 600 LT and refitting stock wheels. New disc and pads upfront and pads in rear, joys of ceramics. :D

Beautiful!

Also, new ceramic discs and pads at the front! Are you finding it painful to sit down after that? :D

@Draeger - loving the Z4 and I almost succumbed and bought one before deciding to stick with the MX5 crew :D

Recently my MX5 has been fully undersealed, had smaller (less radio controlled car) aerial fitted along with a Cobalt back box and a straight pipe exhaust.

@Gibbo - Also love the colour of your McLaren, it's the fastest colour right?
