Some photos I took when collecting car from Autobrite after their application if Hardcoating which is designed for both PPF and paint with one year protection.

Results are superb seems to really bring up the PPF nicely:

Snuck a couple in of the M2 as well as I’ve spent a bit of time recently adding a coat of wax and ceramic sealant to the wheels, it’s also looking on point.

Great job by Autobrite though and sorry for the photo over load by I’ve never owned a car I simply enjoy looking at so much as the McLaren and for me it absolutely drives as good as it looks as a couple of 992 GT3 RS owners found out at my recent track day, simply epic car and I’ve owned it a year now and done about 4000 miles, off to IOM next week and cannot wait.

While you lot are driving about in your fancy Porsches, McLarens and Skylines, I cruise the streets in this bad boy...

Beautiful scenery, shame someone had to park a knackered old MG in the way!

230,000 miles now and still drives incredibly well. It's well looked after, serviced regularly and overall has been very reliable! I do about 25k a year and while I am itching to move into something like an F11 530d Touring, it just doesn't make any sense while the MG is running as well as it is.

I keep setting myself targets as to when I'll change cars but with ULEZ this and EV that... I'm just going to hang on for as long as I can. I have 300k miles in my sights.

Bit dirty in this picture but I do want to give it a full machine polish and have the wheels refurbed. It's a little bit tatty in places but I think is wearing its age and mileage very well. It's been a cracking car and will be a sad day when I inevitably have to say goodbye.

i'm praying it a V6 and not a diesel, but its a diesel isn't it... :p

Oh it's even better that that Acme.... not only is it a diesel... it's also an auto :D The two things that I used to absolutely detest, I now could not be without. I didn't specifically set out to get a car of this spec, I just wanted a 2nd car to keep the miles off my Impreza and a good friend was selling this ZT at the right time. For the mileage and driving I do, the autobox is definitely a big plus point and certainly preferable for my use.

I do have other cars though, including a couple of petrol turbo manual hoon machines so can get away with the mundane slushboxed devil fueled daily driver!

It's not as bad as it sounds though, I promise :p It's been remapped, so is up from the standard 114bhp to around 160. I've fitted V6 brakes all round (a decent increase of 282mm > 325mm on the front) and it's running Eagle F1 AS5s so it's actually not as dull to drive as you'd think.

I would love to try out a ZT190 manual (I nearly bought a cheap ZT260 years ago but chickened out) but the placement of the clutch slave cylinder scares me! Being a Rover 400 fanboy, I'd have a ZS180 in a heartbeat, but haven't got the space for another car. Something would have to go to make room, and I'm not sure what.

As long as its a good auto I think thats often better than a manual in a 4 cylinder dag dag. Let the gearbox do the work to keep it in the torque range! :p

Nah I hear they are actually pretty good cars. The engine is stout too being a BMW lump. But I've both read and seen with my own eyes that some servicing/repairs are challenging because of how the engine has been re-packaged.

Early start to get into the middle of the square, started raining so roof on until I pop down later on the F Type. E type V12 is lovely and the guy interested in the IPACE; on his car the rear hatch was open rather than a shutline issue ha.

I’m tempted to remote start the V8 throughout the day

Huracan/lancia delta 16v intergrale/Nissan pathfinder/Nissan Navara/smart car/niesman bisscoff flare oh and a load of bikes

I really want a Pathfinder but they didn't do it with the V9X engine in the UK :( and most of the ones on sale in the UK have rotting out chassis anyhow - people tend to keep hold of them if they've maintained the chassis :(

Hi i love my pathfinder it’s manual and chipped to 250hp,the chassis is like new I paid 7k for it it was a right off but only needed two doors, managed to get them same colour from the scrapyard.it’s a bit of a weird one as it’s 13 plate it’s got hid lights and all the bells and whistles.I brought it because I live in Spain most of the time and 4x4s are double the cost over here,I tried to get my Navara onto Spanish plates but they changed the law so you couldn’t import a commercial vehicle that’s why I got it.

To be fair the later Navara and pathfinder’s they addressed the problem plus they recalled them all to get them checked.

Not sure they've actually addressed the problem - several people had theirs back to Nissan to be checked and treated and found holes starts to rust through 3-4 years later. My D40 is amongst the last ones produced and if not treated it would be going the same way. (I had it inspected, by Nissan but not part of the recall program, about 18 months back now and it wasn't showing any signs of snapping then).
