JZX110 MK2

Similar car to my JZS171 Crown.
One of the main reasons I got rid of it was the transmission and the so called 'intelligent' throttle control.

It was a horrid concoction of luxury and sporty mashed together in a way that didn't really work.

With a manual swap and a throttle body locking kit it would have been an absolutely fantastic car.

I'd love a manual JZX100.

I drove an Auto JZX100 Chaser, it wasn't great...

All my JZX's were manual, the 110 had a revised R154 which was a big improvement over previous gen, but it still feels like you're driving a tractor. :p

I'm not fussy about the feel of a manual, I just appreciate it being there. :p

I notice when I am driving a nice one, like an MX5, but I get used to a sloppy or notchy one and it doesn't bother me. The shifter in my Alto Works is terrible, but thats just how they are haha.

I think out of all the cars I drove, Honda S2000 and JDM EP3 had the best shifters, the feel was satisfying, precise and never misshifted when ragging it. The ZF-5 box in older BMW's e.g. E36 328 is nice too.

Here's a photo of my Chaser, I do miss it, but I would have to spend 5-10k on it to be what I'm looking for.

Lovely thing.

The shifter in my E30 is pretty decent too, despite the bushings being a little worn.

Out for lunch today, stopped by to admire some natural beauty:

The cows were alright too

You just melted my tired brain.

I thought it was one of those stupid 3D pictures that you tilt your phone to look at because it was moving a little bit, and then I tried to tilt it to look around at the exact moment you panned around, and it made me feel a bit seasick.

I'm going back to bed. :p

Cool colour. I'm loving the deep reds and purples.
Agreed - really love that colour. The setting is perfect too.
Thanks lads. I'm not a flashy person so never wanted a bright coloured car, always been white/grey/black. But I saw this colour (rubellite red) on the road on someone else's car and fell in love with it, couldn't quite tell if it was black or that deep red or just a trick of the light at first. Looks great imo but without being tacky/flashy.

Here's a few more in different lightings. Excuse the crappy phone camera pics!

Had a fabulous Winters drive out on deserted roads in the GR Yaris, outfitted with Winter tyres could drive it flat out, amazing grip and progression, after such a long drive we seem to end up on a beach in Mexico where some antics may or may not have happened. :D

All in all a great fun Winters drive out and the GR has just ticked over 18,000 miles. :)

That’s a horse.

Do you work for Tesco?
Wait you mean to say I've been milking horses all these years?!

Hmmm I thought I recognised that Yaris. When I was getting my tyres fitted I picked up a copy of regtransfers magazine to read while waiting and it had Tyson Fury on the cover. It fell open to this page.
