Show Us Your Motors!

Not just kids, the back seats on an E46 cab are spacious enough for adults too, slightly moreso than the coupe due to the removal of the middle seat on the cab and additional padding) and with the roof down even really tall people are ok with leg room being fine too if the occupants up front are up to around 5ft 9" so the seat position is about average
What's the damage on insurance? I really need a grown up to help me buy one.

That surely is based solely on your metrics such as age, NCB, postcode etc :p

For me it' came to £360 last year with Sterling but next time round I will be going away from mainstream insurers and going specialist as it seems mainstream ones are getting quotes much higher nowadays to the point I may as well go specialist and have the security of an agreed value applied too.

Yeah for sure - just wondered if they had entered $lol territory yet. It is a grand to insure my E43 which I am hoping to reduce into the low hundies.

I think instead of that it's more a case of "we cannot offer you a quote for this car" which is what happened last year with hastings who didn't refuse insurance, but simply could not quote me hence doing a comparethemarket thing and finding Sterling to be the cheapest!

From the 2nd car gathering on Sunday

A lot of appreciation for the E46 it seems still.
very nice, lovely era of M3. How much hair do you have left? :)

Wife's car got a good clean today, was only meant to be a quick once over but ended up getting the full works, wash, clay, machine polish, wax. Plus all the interior.

Most of the annoying marks & scratches are now gone, wheels were refurbished a couple of weeks ago so now looking a lot better.

Let's see how long it lasts!

Took my C63 to the Alps to visit a friend who lives there. I did the diff oil and rear pads before I left. Car performed really well, especially blasting up the alpine roads. I think a wheel bearing is going, or one of the wheels is unbalanced due to the wobbling noise coming from one of the wheels, but apart from that it did well. Currently sitting on 89k miles now. The bodywork needs polishing and the front bumper inserts need attention so I'll get these done in the autumn. The front also looks to sit much higher than normal so I'll check the suspension and probably fit some H&R or Eibach springs.
