Insurance is around £390 fully comp with myself and GF on the policy, both 22, through Norwich Union

 How much NCB do you have on that, that seems stupidly cheap, is she down as the main driver?

And yes get those mats changed pronto :D

Im the main driver, gf as named driver. 5 years NCB, its through A Quote as a broker, underwritten by 'Norwich Union Private Car Club', I was previously with Admiral Group since I passed however couldn't refuse that price.

With regards to rust, Front drivers side front and rear wings just starting to bubble and its in the bodyshop as we speak having drivers side resprayed.

Jobs completed so far -

Airmatic Pump and bracket, Alternator, New Battery, Front Lower Ball Joints, now the car drives as it should.... B service in 5k however, how much do you usually pay at MB main dealer Jez?

Ive stopped using them mate, you'll be looking at 600-700 before they try and sting you with extra work. As an example of the LUL pricing i seem to get round here my local MB dealer quoted me £3500, yes, £3500(!) to bring my car to approved used quality when they did their usual car checkup (it was actually in for a recall).

All of the work they picked up is minor at best, and doesnt even need doing bar a few hundred quid in brakes after an independent assessment! :p

Good job on the insurance, i will try the brokers come renewal time. Although whether i will still have my S by then i am not sure. Ive been meaning to change it for a while as mine is getting a bit long in the tooth now :(

Only problem i have (and a problem you will encounter when you wish to change) is that there is nothing available used for sensible money which is as good, bar other big mercs which render the change a bit pointless really. Therefore i am stuck, i cant change the car. I may even just end up getting another post 04 MOST bus fully loaded S-Class. Perhaps an 06 runout sport model.

Scotland's highlands, around Altnafeadh. Some stunning roads, deserving of a stunning car :p.

Taking photography tips from twoblacklines I see RobbieG. :p

If he wants some crit then it's not a totally crap picutre. Though it is a totally crap car.

He's caught the reflection of the car very well and the scenery is gorgeous. The only thing i'd change is get closer in, use a very wide angle lens and have the cars back end sticking out.

S Class looks fantastic, Golf looks terrible. They really look very generic with the boggo halogen headlights, so a Mk6 GTI with Projectors the other day looked a bit more special.

Loving the irony of the fact the Golf probably cost twice what the S Class did.
