V6 Clio is win, They just cost too much compared for what is still a small hatchback (in terms of appearance)

It's not really fair to say that because in that case it can be applied to any performance car loosely 'based' on a car of humbler origins.

Does a M5 cost too much considering that it is still a rep-mobile (in terms of appearance)?

It's not really a small hatchback at all in execution, is it? It might look like one but it's closer to a mid engined sports car than a small hatchback in terms of how it actually drives and how its actually built.

Veery nice, I love these. So what're the mods?

Other than the V6 where the kids should be that is :p

Off the top of my head... ;)
Uprated Front AP calipers and AP grooved rotor and alloy bells. Pagid Blue pads, braided hoses.
Rear grooved rotor and alloy bell, EDC Redstuff pads.
KW v3 fully adjustable coilover suspension
Janspeed full s/steel exhaust system inc tubular manifolds (no cats).
Pipercross Evo Viper induction kit with cold air feed.
Bespoke gas flowed inlet plenum.
Piggyback ECU with custom map to match the other engine mods

Recaro Sportster CS in leather and suede, colour coded to match the interior.
Renaultsport Sabelt Suede steering wheel

NICE.

Clio V6 is just phenominal. Fab looking, fab sounding, absolutely bonkers.

Slower than the 1x2s in real life though? I know which I'd have, mind ;)

Nahh its not, maybe round a track the 1*2 are better, thanks to the V6 being quite heavy and tail happy.

Awesome machine, and the last of that type we will ever see. Credit to Renault for making it :)

The Vee is harder to drive on the limit, so unless you can drive properly a 1X2 is faster on track. BUT on the road, and if you can drive properly on track the Vee is faster.

Its a challenge, and that's part of the appeal.
