Same BHP and Engine but slightly heavier.. so probably a little slower.. nothing you would notice though.. Much better suspension though.. handles better AFAIK.
Twas sold about 18 months ago. Before I sold it I had a full Fresco exhaust system, carbon reeds, Pipercross air filter, high flow airbox, modified carb and a recalibrated power valve. I don't know the official power figures but it was a fast DT125 I used it for a lot of green laning and the sort, a wonderful bike.
I'm very pleased and I hope I can have 30,000miles + of hassle free motoring! I realised I had spent more on maintaining the clio than I bought it for! And that was just in a year! The V-Dub should be a lot better
It cost me £4,500 which is the best price I've found anywhere for this spec passat (1.8T, 70kmiles, FVWSH, climate control, cd player, ABS, PAS, traction, sports pack, HPi clear, 3months warranty)
I miss the handling of the clio and the instant power, but in the next year or so I'm hoping to get some coilovers, intercooler and a chip on it. In the mean time though I'm just gonna enjoy the cheaper running costs, better economy and smooth ride
