given that they already have a recirc valve out of the factory, why the need to swap in a vent to atmosphere dump valve to sound cool down at mcdonalds car park ?

I'll never understand this hatred towards dump valves. What's the big problem with them?

How about if I run without a dump valve? I just get compressor stall whenever I let off the throttle... and that sounds proper cool at Maccy D's innit.

There's one on mine too. You'd never know it as it is virtually silent...

...So i bought one of these to use on track days... (bought it for the 2 spare springs in reality as the whole lot cost less)

I had to replace mine as the vacuum line to the original bosch valve broke and the pressure build up caused the valve to start "mooing". Bought the forge 2nd hand as it only cost about £10 more than a new bosch.
 
Forge are one of many companies who make uprated recirc valve to enable you to run higher than standard boost.

Next silly argument for a chav valve, i mean i a vent to atmos valve ?

I dont really get how this attack even started. Like Kei, my standard bosch valve failed and was causing a boost leak. I bought the ssqv3 because it comes with a recirc kit! If its the video i posted thats somehow ruined your day so badly, that was a temporary replacement to check the original valve was faulty.

I think its time to agree to disagree and get back on topic
