Show Us Your Motors!

You've misunderstood.

Here's an example:

"My mate owns a Porsche 911 Turbo"

That is simple information, nothing conflicting with anyone else, there is absolutely nothing debatable about that statement.

:)

Ok, what do you say to that?

"Thats nice." "Good for him" ?

We can't exactly say "What options does it have and how do you find it as your daily drive?"

That's my point.

I mean I know lots of people who have nice cars, i am sure lots of people here do as well but the point is unless you are the owner or driven it, anything else might as well just read online reviews.

Do you reply to every single post you read?

My point is you don't have to say anything at all. Ignorance is bliss for everyone, and it avoids an internet war. :)

Anyway, seems like the "war" has died down now. So I'll leave now.

Raymond, genuine question. Do you remember the thread a few years ago (I think it was stickied at the top of motors), about 50 pages or something large. It ended with someone sayings - 'you can't say bad things about people - so say nice car innit'.

;)

I remember in the lines of "if you got nothing nice to say, don't say it".

I think that is referring to "post your girlfriend" thread?

Ford Focus mk1 1.6 petrol Ghia pre-facelift.

It's a fantastic and very versatile car. Just wish it had cruise control.

More recent shots of mine, still need to get the Buckets in, debating wether or not to purchase a sliding base for the sub frames or just to statically mount them to the floor:confused:

I was under the impression that the driver seat has to be adjustable in some way.

I may be wrong and misinformed but as long as it's adjustable even to the extent of taking out bolts and moving back or forward to different holes then it's fine?!

I think its a case of, if the seat is adjustable it must be functional.
i think i'm gonna go for them anyway, i dont really want to lose the ability to adjust back and forward.
