Show Us Your Motors!

Makes the car look more special i guess.

The Abarth 500 does the same.

Do all the A1s have 2 exhausts? I would have thought the 185 is the only one that really needs it if anything.

If you want an A1 with just one exhaust then get the 1.2 TFSI or the 1.6 TDI. I wanted neither of those so went for the 1.4 TFSI 122, the 185 is the same engine but has a supercharger as well as turbo - like the polo gti. :)

1.4 TSI 180/185ps is a brilliant engine. However no where near as economical as it should be in the real world. Well for me anyway!

Still yet to take any proper photos but here's a quick couple from the weekend.

Short back and sides please ^^

;)

Like those alloys, they aren't OEM are they?

I only do highlights.

It's a quattro Sport so the wider 18" wheels (8" front, 8.5" rear) are standard. As are the the fixed back Recaro buckets, alcantara trim and stripped out rear with strut brace. I've always been a TT fan and I've got a thing for bucket seats so this is pretty much the ultimate combo for me :p

Random pic from tonight after giving it a wash, desperately need to sort my caliper's out, quite fancy silver? I think red's a little over done :) Got some plastidip in the post too for the grille and fog lights...

Cheers

I'm looking to get the wheels refurbed at some point this summer, found a great rate of £40/wheel at a local place. Might look into gunmetal but I really like the black, when clean they are so shiny :D

Well i have bought new disks and pads and CS3 tyres all around for the new car and thought i would fit the disks and pads today before the new tyres go on tomorrow. Suddenly realized the the previous owner hasn't gave me the Locking wheel nut and he has lost it, so buggered that one up.... So decided to give the car a good wash and polish.

Must say, i am finding this a massive step up from the Fiesta ST. Don't get me wrong the ST is brilliant, but this car is just way more thrilling in everyway which is what i love about it and it is surprisingly comfy.

Now just got to get a locking wheel nut, will have to see how much vauxhall will try shaft me for one. I will just drill it off if they ask for to much.
