360 isnt an elite, its a regular 360 with a black bezel, then i coloured in the top with a permenant marker

Indeed. Perhaps he should spend more money on flooring rather than technology though..that carpet is something else!

Yeah I was discussing that, with this thread with the guys at work. The desk thread in GD as well. The amount of nerds that have spent thousands on AV equipment and have it in a room with 250 year old wallpaper and carpet.
Can't have wives. There's no way a wife lets thousands be spent on AV equipment without first getting new carpet

Awkward buying the 360...Mum came home with one and it was a 203w (Not Falcon) so I went back to the shop by myself and explained why I wanted to exchange it (that was awkward) and they did, funnily enough every other one of their stock was a Falcon/175w they said, how unlucky is that!

Andy pretty much summed it up. I don't plan on getting decent speaker stands, AV stand, nice carpet etc till I'm in a place of my own.
Why people spent all this cash is because it's worth it. Why the hell would I be looking at my 200 year old carpet when I'm doing HD gaming on a nice big screen and enjoying the sounds from my 5.1 speakers lol.
