Do you always use your Wii like that without the stand? Would overheat I would have thought as you are blocking a vent no?

nope. Just got it back from a mate since last xmas!!!! lol

But there is rubber feet. I take it there was not enough clearance so they made the stand?

I'm sure I heard people say they overheat if you use them vertically without the stand, that's all

It would definitely be blocking a vent/intake so I wouldn't risk it personally.

I have mine like that, the stand doesnt really offer anymore area for air to enter.

I think there's a couple of cm for air space, peace of mind to have it horizontal or on the stand.

only 40" but my gf keeps saying it looks a lot bigger than the ones in the shop. I think its a case of finding a tv to suite the room than going for the bigest you can get. In my mums house the tv looked on the small side
