Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

New addition to my setup. Samsung LE26R41B 26" for HD Xbox 360 gaming and it works really awesome as a PC monitor too. :D

The only problem I have ever had with the idea of a HDTV as a PC monitor is the fairly low res (1366x768?) I was going to buy a 23" samsung and use it for my 360 and a secondary monitor, but the res was to low, and am planing on buying a nice TFT monitor instead... am I just being a little fussy with the res though?

Depends what res you currently use.. if you use 1280x1024.. you'll probably not notice it is what ive been told.

But if youve been using 1600x1200 res.. the drop might be quite dramatic..?

I use 1600x1200 TBH on a CRT monitor... I going to buy a nice 20" TFT phillips though so I can have a secondary display at 1680x1050... I think it will still look great on the 360 too :)

Then you'll definately see it. I went from 1280x1024 on a 17" TFT to the Samsung HDTV above, and there is a bit of a drop in res. You lose a bit vertically, but gain a bit horizontally. Also with the panel being larger, the pixels are bigger giving an impression of an even lower resolution. I'm very fussy with resolutions/frame rates and the like, and I boxed my 17" TFT up ready for sale within an hour of testing the Samsung - the positives far outweigh the slight drop in res. That, and I just dont have enough room on my desk! ;)
