Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Theres a decent amount of space between the end of the bed and the set, than appears from the photo :D ideally it would have been wall mounted with concealed cabling and a component rack along the wall but that would have cost serious money the stand was actually less than the 360.

Bit off topic.

I know these look the dogs on the old HDTV, but i don't fancy getting a one of those as ive already got a 28" Widescreen Sony Trinitron, so anyone know how will look hooked up to my PC's TFT with the VGA cable.

Ive been on about selling my PSP for months now, so been thinking, i may actually get around to doing it now, and then getting the 360 if it will look ok on my TFT.

Should look as good as any other TFT tbh but you've got to remember that some games on 4:3 will look squashed which is why tbh a widescreen is essential. I guess thats a half decent tft so ghosting shouldn't be an issue. Anyway the 360 is gorgeous running off a vga lead :)

Half-decent?
Its an awesome TFT. I had one for about a year. No ghosting, crystal clear display. Bright. One of the best screens ive ever owned.

Yeah its a cracking display, i don't get any ghosting at all. :)

Don't like the sound of looking squashed, i could hook it up to my Tv i suppose if i get the proper SCART cable, i had my nephews one hooked up to it, it looked ok i suppose, but i think i remember that the lead you get with the Premium is not the proper SCART, so the picture should look a bit better with the proper one, as i remember having to plug the 3x phonos into the SCART plug, so that would'nt have been proper RGB i don't think, if i got the proper SCART would i see a difference between that and the lead you get with the Premium.

As long as it will look ok im not really bothered about the HDTV, or if the squashed is not that bad on my TFT, then i may just hook it up to that with the VGA cable.

It wont look squished, if you can, as i asume, set the 360 to output to 4:3. 5:4 is more ideal, but 4:3 should look fine.
 
Hmm i may sell my PSP and get one after all then, im not really bothered about the FPS like COD2, Quake 4 etc... as i can just play them on my PC with the mouse/keyboard, so it could be good for the other games. :D

I would seriously recommend a widescreen monitor, the Xbox360 really excels in Widescreen mode.

Nice shots there mate, its not an easy task getting a camera to take pictures of a CRT. Very nice picture too.
You USA based? Dont see an awful lot of CRT HD TVs over here...
