This pic is a few weeks old (have added a PS3 now):

Samsung LE40M86BDX 1080p 40" LCD TV
Onkyo TX-SR505 7.1 reciever
Kef KHT-1005 5.1 speakers
Xbox 360 Premium (audio via toslink, video via vga for 1080p hddvds, sometimes use component for games)
The stand is an Alphason AMBR-1100B.

Had to add the PS3 for some Blu Ray action (1080p@24Hz over HDMI is stunning). Not really a great gaming machine imho, but F1 Championship has been comsuming a lot of my time recently.

Carpets are insulators, and a console on carpet will also gather more dust than one that isnt.:).

Ill replace these pictures with shots of my set up eventually but for now i will show what i purchased this afternoon. Amazingly i walked past a games retailer and said, ooooo look an xbox 360 elite, too which my girlfriend said why don't we get it, amazing day :D:eek:

Yep Naim pre and power :cool: Sources at the moment are my PC with its Auzentech X-Plosion with uprated OPAMP's, and the 360. As I only really use my 360 for games at the moment, I'm not in the least bit fussed whether or not its audio output is 'good enough' for the Naim. I've no doubt's that Microsoft didn't chuck in high quality components for the 360's soundcard, but it certainly sounds good enough for games, though not as good as the quality of sound that comes out of my PC soundcard. A CD Player is in the pipeline, but I'm moving next week, and all funds are diverted towards the massive expense that is moving out of the bedroom you've lived in for years, to a flat of your own!

The speakers are B&W DM601s3's...they've recently been superseded by the B&W 685...if your after a pair, they usually go pretty cheap, even more so now theres a replacement!

The Premium isn't hooked up at the moment, it just sits there for show :p I was going to sell it to offset the cost of the Elite, but with it being possible to buy a premium brand new for £220, what I'd get for one second hand doesn't make it worth selling really! So I'll use it as a spare/carry to mates/setup in another room 360 :)
