In fact you've just alienated a beta tester. There is no need to have to have an account to download your software. For god sake make it optional.
In sorry, but it's simply too much. I don't like giving my details to every tom, dick and harry, nor does it serve any purpose for me as a user. All I want to do it download the software and use it. If I have a question or want to report a bug, then fine, but at least it's my choice. If this was a well known product, I would have gone straight to a mirror site. I hope you reconsider.
That option to shutdown when the NIC hits a threshold is really cool.
Looks cool. Will give this a go later today.
Might compare and contrast with some batch files using PSShutdown.

Try and get it on Majorgeeks, Fileforum and Softpedia. Better than cnet imo

Same issue on both the portable and installed version (so the name of the exe isn't the issue)
Same error.
Any chance you could do this to sleep/shutdown after download activity has finished? Ie monitor network usage rather than CPU activity?
Sounds like you're learning an awful lot by developing this application. Well done.
I can see new features being added to this after all this work. For example, instead of just being a shutdown utility, it can be used to launch an application, send an email, or possibly even send a text message to a user.![]()

Installing prerequisite software... then errors
The windows installer service is unavailable. Another application may be running setup. Finish any installations in progress, or restart your computer then rerun setup.
Im guessing its refering to your installer already running?
Good work there mate,
Is there a reason you have written this APP? Personal Challenge? UNI? etc.
Wake on Lan an option?
