Shuttle launch STS-118 today

Interesting one that. I'm not entirely sure what the T stands for in T-<minutes>. There's the obvious, but I don't know if it's correct.

Lots of tal about C3 errors what ever they are but also that the "Configuration is good"

Looking at the tracking I think the shuttle will be over the south west tip of England at some point.

T stands for Time, would you believe. It's the mission time. The reason its - is because the mission has not started yet. Once the shuttle has launched it continues to count upwards, timing the mission.

About 4 mins left now :)

C will be Caution, so a fairly low level error. Something to do with the Spacehab being powered down. Dunno much more than that but it obviously wasn't important.

I always feel like a little kid watching these launches... not to mention nervous.

Good luck to all on board... *fingers crossed*

Must say I admire the Americans for their determination and achievements with the Space programme.

That was the 'obvious' I thought of, but my Google-fu had abandoned me when trying to verify it. I like to get my facts straight. :)
