Head for Florida, go to KSC Visitor Center, get in the launch simulator. May be only a simulator but it's been 'astronaut certified', so is as real as it gets without being an astronaut.

Do not, however, get confused and get in the G-force simulator at the Astronaut Hall of Fame, unless you are sure you can keep down your lunch. :D
 
Never get bored of watching that.

It's so impressive, but I guess still kind of sad that it's all still so complex.

I found Mission:Space at epcot was a pretty good simulator. Fairly strong G's.
