1 x USB keyboard & Mouse Black @ 9.34GBP
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Order Total (inc.VAT inc. Shipping): 739.56GBP

had to pay slightly higher prices as the other site would not accept non UK CC. The other site said they might be delays as well.. meh
really hope it comes on friday..

Also hoping you already have hdd's to put in your new shuttle along with the DDR2 already mentioned

Otherwise really good spec - what OS are you planning on using?

never put an order in after a long day at work.. thank god i came in here for a browse and you guys pointed it out.
was on hold for an hour and a bit trying to get the order changed.
ended up getting OCZ SPECIAL OPS DDR2-800 2GB Kit for a rather rich price of £207 but they were out of everything else, so no choice.
apparently attempting to add a more expensive item to an order is a very complex problem, hopefully they call back soon to charge me or my hopes for a pc assembling weekend will be dashed :(

oh.. ill be running WinXP for now and maybe a linux distribution

WHY DIDN'T YOU BUY THIS ?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-072-OC

because it didnt have the camo heatspreader... heh
seems like a pretty good deal, but my hands were tied and they were out of stock of every other ddr 800hz memory

and my woes continue.. after fixing up the ram order which then delayed it for over a week.. i try to assemble it and the graphics card is too big!!
and should i be able to get it in, theres no way the tv card will get in..
what are my options?
would i be able to get an aftermarket cooler that will fit?

sorry matey didnt spot that you chose an extreme - no way in the world you are going to fit that in with a tv card also (unless you make it a usb tv card, but I dont rate them personally) my one slot X1950 only just fits in with a card alongside it

Aftermarket cooler is an option yes - but I dont know much about them to be honest - sure someone will be along shortly to advise you - remember though this could affect your warrenty

That's a tad unlucky, will you be able to return the GFX and get a standard 1950 PRO, I wouldn't want to mess the warranty up, at least not for a few months ?

My 1950XTX's were a tight fit too, took some jiggling to get both of them in.

i would rather not have to deal with the turnaround time..
i either get a new card and sell this one off
or
fit another cooler..
can anyone advise me which cooler would fit with without blocking the other slot. Will the X1950 pro fit as above?

in regards to warranty, i had to dismantle the card to get off the cover to the fan so i could jam it in. Suprisingly it went in and worked.

does anybody know where i might be able to acquire such a cooler?
FrankJH, does that card fit without blocking the other PCIe slot?
if you happen to know the dimensions on the heatsink + fan, would you be so kind as to list it.
cheers

Im afraid I dont have the dimensions and I lied above because I have actually changed it to a passive cooled 7600GS because I was having no end of trouble getting the X1950 Pro working with PowerDVD Ulta and Vista for my HD-DVD drive so thought I would swap it with the nvidia card from my 25P

The nv card works a treat, and PowerDVD just works now as it should rather than having to fight it every time with the ATI card in place.

I can confirm though that it is quite possible (even though a little fiddly) to get this card plus a full sized tv card along side each other.

Unfortunately OCUK dont sell the 7600GS I have any more, but at a rough guess the passive cooler is as slim if not slightly slimmer than a X1950 Pro cooler, so yes it easily fits in.

I killed my 25P last night - which means I am really really   and I cant really afford to replace it either so Im doubly peed off.

Opty 170, 2GB DDR, X1950 all bit the dust (not to mentiion the actual shuttle)
