Silent Hill 2 Dev Clarifies CEO Comment on Pushing Konami to Release on PC - IGN

Konami and Bloober Team will soon release their Silent Hill 2 remake for PlayStation 5 and Steam, but a PC almost didn’t happen at all.

A lot of nods to the original game, I might just play 90s mode throughout

From everything I have read so far it does seem it is faithful to the original, and has various options to have that original gameplay feel with the modern GFX. That's all I want!

Silent Hill 2 Remake Will Require Over 15 Hours to Beat; First Review is Very Positive

Japanese magazine Famitsu reviewed the Silent Hill 2 remake, awarding it a higher score than the original and revealing some new information

15 hours to beat is probably based on being a completionist

heres the stats for the original

so probably about 10 hours of game play in reality
so like £6 at an hour at full price

The review also confirmed that it will take between 16 and 18 hours to complete the game for the first time, which is almost double the length of the original, so it will be very interesting to see how Bloober Team expanded the original.

All UE5 games recently have worked with ultrawide out of the box. It's supported at engine level.
