I should really replace mine - I'd think these filters are very cross compatible, and many connect on same bore tubing,

However when you look at the voulme of water they can deal with the 70L one with my water

would do 45Litres about a month and a half, so £5/month.
I was using jars (the vacuvin 1L pots) for coffee, but since I started single dosing the grinder, I tip it from the packet straight into a pot on the scales

I'm sure there must be some decent compatible ones out there for a bit cheaper but mine was due to be changed and I didn't want to risk the water here messing it up!
We have to boil a lemon in our kettle once a week because the limescale builds up so quickly

Yep. Just started this. It's darker than I like usually as I like light to medium roasts. It's strong but not that bad for a darkish roast.

Tank Filters - would be interesting to know how often folks change them,
it's there to stop any debris in the tank being injested, but otherwise I rely on de-calcifying regularly and use tap, so its cosmetic;

Highly recommended the breakfast blend is a staple of mine that you can't go wrong with in any brew method. Everyweek 2 weeks or so they have something new to try.
Bought some mount Everest Himalayan last week and it's amazing so soft. It is just as good as blue mountain. Still it's quite pricey as single origin coffee goes.

Anyone find their Barista Express tray fills quite frequently? I seem to be emptying it a lot.
In addition to that, I'm just trying to tweak the timings again with my 1:2.5 ratio (my preference). However, right now the pressure is fairly high and I'm a little worried making it a finer grind will put it into the upper limits. Should I be worried about this?
Don't get me wrong, the espresso produced right now is tasty, has life, fruity (Columbian El Carmen). However, I just want to know if I can make it better

Anyone tried the pacamara that is Guatemala El Morito No97 from Rave? It comes in 80g tins for £6.95.
What an explosion of different flavours from a light roast. I am still trying to take it in. Very expensive for the quantity you get but the experience has been an interesting one.

Hopefully I'll be trying some later today or tomorrow - I have some that's apparently out for delivery now. I'm going to dig out the vac pot for it.
This is my current favourite, wonderful aroma, classic espresso :
