Went last year and going again this year for the Moto GP.

One thing I can definitely recommend taking... a jumper!

I froze my b****** off last year in June because it was so windy.

Went for the first time last year and it was brilliant, going back this year think in Luffield B, was lucky last year as it was roasting the whole weekend maybe even too hot

hope the weather is good this year.

I would say take your own food into the track rather than paying £10 for a burger and chips that taste like cardboard. We camp in the SRC campsite which is pretty decent with clean showers and toilets and close enough to the track, pay a bit extra to be a member but find it's worth it

Got my tickets for MotoGP and F1 now

Roving grandstand for the GP and Stowe B for the F1

Just need to grab a 55-300 lens for my DSLR

Id love to go to Silverstone to watch the F1 but would depend on how much it would cost for the parking and tickets ect.

well, on friday it would be £70 odd if you pre-ordered it before xmas, but clearly not now.

Well worth going if you can afford it. You cannot describe the noise and atmosphere, it is just amazing. Those you've been (or been to testing events) will know

Yea thats what a lot of people say about the sound of the engines are unbelievable and the way the cars corner and slow down from such high speeds.

Yep especially watching them in testing a couple of years ago. They were heading from Bridge to Priory and only braking at Priory when turning in :eek:

Was mental.

my dad took me to see f1 back in 2007 testing, but in 2008...........those were the days, screaming v12's reving over 22,000 odd rpm.....these days the cars seem to be a little soft sound wise anyway, but this year with the new blown defuser ect. well.......I can't wait.....3 days of heaven

ok, here is a link for a amazing link, just bare with it, around middle of the video the guy films the cars going under the bridge......flat out, around 170mph...incredable
