Silverstone Fortress FT02B-W Owners, Your thought's please!!!

Ah screw that then, I'd rather not mess around with it too much, as above the plan was to use the front bays for the res and pump and the top fan for the a 120.1. I don't think it would benefit much over a H70 so I'll probably leave it.

Single would be fine for a CPU loop though wouldn't it, then sit a 120.1 at the top - there's plenty of room at the front for a t pipe. But I'm not sure if I would see any decent temperature drops from the H70.

Chris - finally ordered my case, decided if i dont get the FT02 (cannot afford ;( ) i would get the next closest thing. RV02-EW yay!

I knew if i went with the RV03 i would regret it.

Cannot wait, only took me 1.5 months to decide :p

What colour did you go for Kyo? Venares in this thread(thanks too) is moving my current pc into my white Raven on Sunday can't wait. :)

Will get some pics up when it's done too.

Also sorry speaking about it when it's a FT02 thread but i was deciding between the two as they are both fantastic cases and very hard to choose between.

I went for the black mate - Going to get a pair of Akasa blue light so should be pretty cool once it all comes together. Will try and get some pics once it is all built.

I know this is a FT02 thread but it worth the comparison and info as they are so similar.

FT02 - Full Fat
RV02- Half Fat :)

Yeah I cant imagine why a single bay res would be an issue. Temp drop wise i'm not sure, I have no idea how efficient those closed loops are but ive seen good reviews.

I did find my optical drive was practically touching the mobo which made tidy cabling a little challenging but it can be done, so stick with it when you put the bay res in.

It's a lot of work, this case, but it's honestly worth it, it's by far the prettiest case on the market!

Still waiting on some parts to arrive so can't continue today!

I'm going to do some research to see if it'll be worth it, I don't want to spend money for a couple of degrees, I'd rather put it towards a newer GPU.

I was going to try that with the XSPC bay res but it wouldn't sit flush with front of case as it has a slight lip on the front about 1-2mm so i sold it just done a pump/res on top of fans although i have seen it done in other pics.

I think you would probably have to knock back some metal tabs or something, cant quite remember.

Can you remember where you saw the pics of it working? Where exactly is this lip?

Some pics I took when it arrived and when I was building it up.

The box is a bit big, next to my 40" TV (yes, I know I need a new TV cabinet, shhh). The courier driver did not look impressed dragging it up to my flat.

Almost done...

And finally done, as I've posted already:

as per the ASUS manual. use black slots first then the blue.

I say move the drive to the top slot. then you cant see it when the window is on anyway.

I think they are in black slots? Will have a look after the BTCC.

I never thought of moving the drive, I just put it there when I built it as it seemed the easiest option.

Chris: what do you think of the case then?

I love it.

My only gripes really are that the HDD caddies are a bit flimsy, and the top USB connector assembly feels a bit cheap.
