GT Omega prime lite, which I pr-ordered for £300, quad mount from them for £360! Cracking price for a full rig.
Seat from amazon, £30 cheaper than from their site.
Fanatec DD1, BMW clubsport wheel, najam simtek pedals, cheap build your own kit load cell. 3 x Koori 1440p 144Hz curved monitors, not the best you can get by far, but do the job more than enough.
Ireaper button box with iflag, iphone 7 plus for stream deck mobile, razer kyio webcam, plus I now have 2 x noctua industrial fans for wind sim.
Dell 1440p monitor for quad goodness

PC
i5 1200k cpu, 3070 (3090 soon), 32 gig of ram etc etc.

A load of cable management to keep the cables running inside the 80/20 grooves as much as possible. Pays off when lookign at it fromt he front lol.

Quite fancied a try oout of the Simforge Mrk1s. Two pedal set for £300 and a foot tray, for £50/60.
Don't want Hs, they are great, just fancy something different.

2 weeks with the Asetek Invicta wheelbase, have to say I'm absolutely loving it.

Much prefer the FFB over the DD1 I had previously. It's hard to tell whether it's better than a Simucube Pro 2, but it's definitely as good as. I've found myself able to catch the car a lot more on situations that I'd probably not feel the car go until it's too late with the DD1. It's a properly nice bit of equipment as well.

Software is a little lacking at the moment, but I'm sure that will catch up. The fact you can plug everything in to the wheelbase helps massively with cable management as well. Streamdeck, pedals, microphone, webcam are all plugged directly in to the wheelbase. Also handy as it means they're only on when the wheelbase is on.

I've gone form polar opposite ends of the wheel spectrum. Hopefully should get to use it tonight. I fitted it to the rig earlier.

Couldn't find a place that had stock of everything (wheelbase, wheel and front mount) so have the bits coming from a couple of different places. So probs next week now with the bank holiday weekend etc.

Overclockers was the cheapest place for the Invicta pedals. Unfortunately they don't sell the wheelbase or wheels.

How many squillion UK dollars did that skin you?

Got my first endurance race (2 hours so not proper endurance) on Saturday at The Ring. Been practicing a fair bit (GT4s are there this week with 3 and 4 lap races). Safety rating is recovering nicely since me losing my A rating last week.

Got my first protest filed against me last night. Doing the GT4 at The Ring I was following a Porsche. Numerous times he'd make a mistake causing him to go really slow. However, he would always swerve hard back onto the racing line. So for 2 laps I followed (I was only racing for safety rating anyway) but then he makes a big mistake, scrubs all his speed and I go to pass (he's half on the grass). He pulls back onto the racing line and we crash (Obviously).

Waited until the race was finished then messaged him. Told him to improve his driving "politely". He lodged a protest saying I had abused him :cry:

I lol'd when I read the email.

This is why I both love and hate Nords on iRacing. Love it because it's just an amazing track to drive around, hate it because it's already difficult to pass on as it is, but people are just absolute idiots defending moves that they absolutely should not defend.

On a more positive note, DaveCam watched and commented on my YouTube video from Race America...definitely had a little fan boy moment

Congrats, thats a beautiful wheel, I see you Dan Suzuki purple and the full six paddles, good choice.

I have an orignal FPE, if I can I'd like to get a P1.

Some UK people have had to pay DHL before delivery (once DHL had it out of customs). Some have received an email invoice.....So far i've not been contacted. 2 days.
