Sim racers - what are you running?

Trak Racer just told me that my delayed parts should be here "by the end of the year", so that's in stock, to end of October, to early November, to end of year.
But they have a sale on.
I would warn anyone buy from them that the CS experience is going to be hell and do not trust their claimed delivery times.
Gear is really good once you get it though.
Really annoying to be one piece missing to complete the rig. I just wanna get it finished and finalise all the cables etc. nothing I hate more than a 90% complete project,

Finally got my Logitech pro wheel and pedals set up but going to need some sort of wheel stand as the pedals move all over the place, the wheel mounts to my desk perfectly however.

Can anyone recommend a good wheel stand to use with the Logitech pro wheel and pedals? Will be using an office chair for now. Looking for something which is sturdy and minimal flex within reason obviously!

Many thanks.

When I used my old DD Pro on the desk clamp I fab'd up a wee metal frame that went between the pedals and skirting board and stopped the pedals from moving. However, in stopping the pedals from "running away" the chair I sat on went the other way (backwards)

@john_smith I assume you use a powered USB hub for your wheel (Hyper P1)? This last week I've had a number of disconnects mid race (Which obviously ended in disaster). I wasn't aware, but apparently the Asetek quick release USB connection is only good for 1A. The GSI Hyper P1 on low LED brightness draws 0.9A (according to Dan Suzuki) and I was running it on medium so I'm assuming this was the reason for my drop outs.

I do, i've one of these. Never had a wheel issue (touch wood)

Thanks! They’re 32" Samsung G5 curved. 1000R curved screens give quite a tight angle when setup tight so it’s not the most elegant thing to climb inside!

Roughly, the room is just shy of 4m x 3m
