SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

Got back into Sim City 4 recently. The level of depth at which you can get into games like that (Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 the other one I've sunk hundreds of hours into) when you enter the modding community is unbelievable.

Simtropolis is fantastic for anyone looking to take their Sim City further. And on a side note, for anyone interested in seeing RCT3 pushed to its limits, I'd suggest you look at some of the parks created on Shyguy's World. With the tools at your fingertips and a creative mind, these become more than just computer games.

This is good news.

Loved SC 2000 and 3000, but could never get into 4, buggy beyond comprehension, slow, constant crashes to desktop. Hopefully 5 will live up to expectations.

Heres to riots, water shortages and alien invasions!
 
I seriously hope this isn't dumbed down. Sim city 4 was excellent.mmust not get hopes up!

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, INCLUDE MODDING!

The SC4 modding community is still going, churning out high quality buildings and mods (e.g. NAM, CAM).
 
Brilliant news! I was expecting it to be a new Sims game (as in The Sims) when I heard they were announcing a new simulator game, but really glad it's SimCity!
