SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

Well, bought this 3 days ago and have spent approx 15 hours on it and have already got fed up with the map size!

I really didn't think It would bother me that much but It is a real pain. I feel like the only way to progress is to play with other player so you can utilize what they have built etc (like police forces etc).

So does anyone want to team up and give it a go?
 
I am tempted to buy this....but reading mixed feedback and given it is an EA title means I will already view it as a disappointment...
 
Started a new region the other day, all going well. Played some more yesterday.

Had to do a windows restore to a week ago, re-installed the game and now I cannot see my game/region.

Any ideas?
 
Why wont they just increase the ruddy map size. I'm hoping now this has an offline mode it will be hacked and the map size modified. I have given up with EA on this.
 
Came here hoping to read that the map sizes had been increased....dam you EA :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I dont understand why they can't/wont do it, seems its what everyone want!
 
They give some **** reason about "well most people's computers won't be able to handle the extra load because we can't program stuff properly to save our lives" - well, at least give us the bloody option! We don't care if it runs slowly, if we can have larger maps - plus, anyway, it's a good reason to stress our expensive systems!
 
This game died long ago, but obviously EA will release patches (off line mode) etc to keep it news worthy to help milk as much money as possible out of it.

However the game design / mechanics are fundamentally broken and no patch (or city size increase) is going to fix that.
