Why can I never play the beta?

Everytime I load the beta client I get error updating, and it says the server is available.

I give up with this place, i've responded to someone else about the beta being over on this very page. How come people are incapable of looking for information themselves??

I just dont see what the point is of trying to be helpful in here, the vast majority cant be bothered reading it anyway, and sadly too many of those who do use the thread use it to bash every decision EA/Maxis make

I have seen a couple of release dates for this, some say the 5th and others say 8th!

Most games come out on a Friday, is the 8th the final confirmed date?

The deluxe edition would be nice but im with most of you on this - its an EA rip off! only them are offering this and thats enough to force people into buying, shame really.

You can indeed, but only for 24 hours this time though... and the last one was short enough!

Apparently if you registered for the previous beta, then you don't have to register again, which is something, I suppose.

The game is launched on the 5th of March, I cant wait... after playing the beta I have to say that I love it! SimCity is one of those games that should be used to show why PC gaming is fantastic

It's a bit of a mixed bag of emotions at the moment.

It's fun
