SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

Jeez not gonna be buying this for a while then...

looks like its gonna be as butchered as Sims 3 for micro transactions.

EA shrewd *******s for sure.
 
I am reading a few bad things about this game, with queues to play the game and cities randomly breaking forcing you to rollback the hours you put in.

Thinking about canceling my pre-order. What to do....
 
Canceled it, luckily the game is not released until Friday. Probably best to wait a week or 2 to see how things play out. The game is getting so much negative feedback right now!
 
I have played the beta, didnt enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

The reviews that have been uploaded are showing images of an entire city roughly the same size as the beta cities.. which isn't a good thing (i.e. very very small).
 
Metacritic user reviews have spoken, its all over reddit as well.... screw this game no buy from me.

Massive shame as i have a real itch to build things! This itch has not been scratched in a long long time.

I wouldn't get too excited about that. I got a shipped email for crysis 3 from game 5 days before release and it didn't actually turn up until Saturday! A day late! Never again!

Unlocked with a HK VPN last night and played for about 1.5 Hours. Now when I get home it is locked again and says it doesn't release until the 8th :(. SIGH
 
The great thing is about this game is that its perfect for when you need to waste a few hours in a leisurely nicely paced manner. You know, like when your internet goes down and you cant get on with anything else, or your on your laptop away from home.

Oh, wait a minute.
 
woooh didnt expect this much negativity from this game, dodged the bullet on this one!

Poor EA.
 
Was looking forward to this release, but upon hearing the reviews about a 'single player' game being online only, data not following you between servers, etc, think i will keep my money in my pocket, really disappointing.

Is the move to store in-game data in the cloud to try and counteract piracy with games ?
