Simple student house etiquette

What is everyones opinion of the following? I live with five other post grads and i'm glad to say we are all considerate and appreciative of each others comforts.

Late night showers - 2/3am - I sometimes finish work late, 1am and need a shower
Daytime noise levels - 12pm-6pm - I like heavy music, which is best played loud :D

Go into town and buy some fart gas a proceed to spray it under the door.

Hey presto one empty bathroom.

Its pranks like this make it worth all the hassle of living with dirty/messy ******** that must have been brought up in a bubble.

- If you finish work late its reasonable if you cant get in the shower the next morning... id say 1am is ok.. but 3 is pushing it.. as long as your not waking people up

Daytime noise levels - 12pm-6pm - I like heavy music, which is best played loud
-As long as you arnt irritating people working or playing it stupidly loud you should be ok. But if i was working in the house and you started playing music, and if it was every single day.. i would get annoyed.

As an update I have knocked repeatedy, first time just to say hurry up, to which the reply was "u could use the downstairs bog if you need it", and subsiquent knocks have simply got "i'll be a few minutes more" :P

Yeah, some people don't even read threads.

do what me mate did as far as food is concerned, buy one of those safes from argos and stick it in the bottom of the fridge, yes they can take the safe out, but sure as hell aint getting at that bacon goodness :D

another few rules:

- dont go into my room,
- lie on my bed to watch bollywood dvds on my tv/dvd player,
- use my computer,
- especially when im asleep in bed,
- install loads of crap on my computer like yahoo toolbar,
- leave empty mugs on my computer desk,
- or empty bowls,
- or full ones either,
-l eave stuff on my desktop,
- change my desktop picture,
- add your mates to MY msn
- when you finally get me to build you a pc, take up all my bandwidth (which im kind enough to share for nowt) downloading bollywood movies and crappy bangra mp3s (not a racist remark- actual truth),
-lean a £60 larp sword up against a radiator so it melts and deny all knowledge,
- accidentally set fire to the grill section of the cooker and leave me to lose my deposit
- take my money but dont pay the utility bills so you move back to india and leave me in a cold dark house with no internet, electricity, phone, gas etc
- ever come back...

i had a nightmare of an indian housemate...and a girl too! those were just the major transgressions- she pinched all my milk all the time, never went to lectures, and stayed up all night playing loud music, spent hours in the bathroom..gah!

If she's just moved from her parents, she'll most likely be unfamiliar with communal living. Give her a taste of her own medicine imo, 3 hour bath time!
The question that entered my mind is what was she doing in the bath for 3 hours? Did she not get bored? ;)

You could always kick the door in, holding a toaster above your head. He'll soon shift. You may need to have your keyboard in its hip holster for this one though.

Aside from the already mentioned bin Buckaroo, in my student house if you left your PC unlocked then your MSN sign-in name was considered fair game. As people became more wary of this, the trick was to only change it subtly whilst causing maximum offense, in the hope that they don't immediately spot it.
