Ahh righto, I always thought house building appeared from Sims 2 onwards for some reason!
It seems to be that your inviting her over when she has to go to work. So although she says yes, the clock moves oni n time and then she goes to work. Ask her to meet you at a place and then be mean and split up from her.

i am trying to find a game to take my intrest and well keep me intrested hard task given my short attention span latley.
so basicly this game is making a guy then just controlling his life ect?
Yes.
You create a person, or people and you move them in to a house.
You then shape their lives accordingly, controlling and customizing almost every aspect of their life.
What makes the Sims 3 and previous Sims fun for me, was building little soaps, and just the day to day occurrences that are quite often brilliant!
Don't think you've got it bad, my game crashed while saving which resulted in my whole save being deleted

That way you've got an older, recent save to fall back on if your main save gets corrupted. I haven't had a single corruption since I began using that method about a week ago. Crashes are still frequent obviously.
My game has been running fine. When I quit the game it takes a sec for the window to completely disappear but I've not had any crashes yet.
Not played too much of it but it seems like quite a good game. Only thing I don't like it not getting to see inside the buildings when they go somewhere.
I never played Sims 2 so not sure how it compares but I'm really enjoying the change from the Sims even though I had pretty much all the add-ons!

Have you tried to run the game in compatibility mode? Because Windows 7 is still in development, not everything runs perfectly just yet. For further support and feedback however, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/w7itpro/. It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to post your question there.
