would be good if they could show us what happened to vettel on that lap - lost a bundle of time in the middle sector then looked like he backed off.
 
Wow, that was an impressive run from Alonso. Button will be glad to start ahead of Webber. Red Bull must be wondering what has gone wrong.
 
Webber is in trouble, 5th place, and he nearly always has a poor first lap and loses more places. I think the top 3 could finish in the same order for the race.
 
If Alonso gets the best car next year the season will be over by silverstone. The man is a machine. He's a horrible slimy **** but my god is he wringing results out of that car.
 
Shame Button didn';t get pole on that last lap, would have been like last year when he kept doing on the last laps lol
 
Fantastic lap from Alonso and a great effort from the two McLarens.

Everything leading into qually suggested it was a Red Bull pole. Seems Vettel bottled it.

Awesome GP in prospect.
