Singapore Grand Prix 2010, Marina Bay Street Circuit - Race 15/19

Interesting that here in Singapore and over in Monza his first flying lap is what got him both pole's.

Ever the consistent racer, Fernando Alonso!

If he stays ahead after the first corner, He will romp to the finishing line. Literally zero overtaking on this track.
Hamilton did well i thought, Still think RBR are faster by a few tenths. Not as obvious as Hungary though.

Mclaren's starts this year have been pretty good, Could see Hamilton or Button taking Vettel if RBR has a poor start.

Good time for Ferrari to be in top form though, Fernando is on his game too.
Aslong as his engine holds up, I can see him winning the championship.

Well well well, eyebrow man does it again. Fantastic effort from Hamilton I must say. This is going to be a good battle tomorrow, I just hope the top 5 are in the race for longer than the first lap.

C'mon Lewis !

So damn exciting. Top 5 in the world in the top 5 spots. God damn!

1st lap is going to be mental.

Might be a good first lap but it'll be boring after that, not a track that promotes passing. Cars do look stunning under the lights but is that enough of a reason to have the Singapore GP?

Yes. Don't like it, stop watching. Simples.

(Getting ****ing fed up with modern F1 races being called boring because nobody crashes into anyone else or there aren't a bazillion passing moves. Want that, watch national club racing and stop posting in F1 threads.)

How awful did Bruno Senna's HRT look today? Klien was hardly lightning quick (well, compared to Senna maybe ;))
The thing looked horrible though, fully expect to see Senna in the wall, along with at least 3 others, during the course of tomorrows processi... I mean race.

Edit: For the record, I do predict Alonso will convert pole to victory, and I will rejoice. :D
Also... Sparks from the back of cars look awesome. Old skool stylee!

And if we all stop watching there will be no F1 - Simples.

I don't think advertisers will pay millions to show their wares to empty race tracks and un-viewed TV footage

I never said I wanted crashes but I think it's reasonable to expect that there should be a fair chance that the cars will have a reasonable opportunity of passing each other if they're quicker.

I'm expecting Alonso's engine to expire. Question is... Which Lap ?

Also kind of dangerous having the wunderkind next to you into the first bend.

Speaking of first bend... Should be interesting to see what happens with the McLarens !!

I'm praying for rain. Should help Webber & Button.

i wonder if alonso will make an epic come back in the last 3rd of the season to lose the championship to a blown engine on one of the last races.

Reckon two safety cars tomorrow. That will decide the race - best calls. Reckon Button will be on podium along with Webber and Alonso. Can see Vettel and Hamilton taking each other out. Both aren't particularly clean overtakers (or drivers).

If he uses the 9th engine next race does he also get the same penalty? Or is it just the first use of a new engine.
