Yup, thought as much, Button damaged Maldonado's car. I doubt he'd have held off these super soft TR's but he should be as fast as Grosjean and miles clear of the Saubers.

Verstappen could well be a one off, so I think it's a fair change. As Eddie Jordan said last year, the young people need to have a back up plan, education or similar, which is an entirely fair point in my opinion.
Verstappen could still get spat out by the Red Bull Machine much like JEV did and be left with not much else, at such a young age.
What was the point in letting them partially unlap themselves then?

He's had a fantastic drive today, from starting in last place all the way up to 8th. Great to see these new young and upcoming drivers.
Red Bull have had a pretty solid driver lineup through their F1 scheme, I still think JEV had a lot of potential, but ah well.
Well Bahrain and Abu Dhabi have a lot of lights around the track too - I think that's why the fault is pointed towards the Subway, rather than the lights?
My point was that if viscinity to high voltage lines was a cause, what about all those things.
Makes me think it is very unlikely to be anything to do with subway lines which are likely very far underground with lot of ground in between.
The simplest explanation is that its just coincidence.
Those aren't real reasons. Just random speculation.

Singapore they'll be fast though, and reliability is fixed. The lies coming out of Mclaren is what is hurting them so much. After preseason testing "we hope to be looking at points by Europe, podiums after midseason and maybe even wins at the end of the season".... lol.
I mean Hamilton, Hulk, Massa and Button was in 14th and miles off the Saubers, just embarrassing.
