Singapore Grand Prix 2015, Marina Bay - Race 13/19

That is pretty darn serious. Someone is going to lose their job over that.

Yeah, they're not used to people not doing what they're told, they're also not used to people being idiots and putting themselves in danger.

Wonder should that have been open.
Wonder should someone have been on it.
Either way, not a good thing.

I very much enjoyed Vettel's BBC interview, he can be quite hilarious at times.
No doubt the mercs will be back on form next race, unless it is something as major as tyres at correct pressures hurt their car incredibly, but I somehow doubt its as simple as that. Would love to see them flounder for a few races just to see a mix of podiums, and race for second place.

Every track left (with the exeption of Brazil, I guess) depends a lot on power, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Mercedes wrap up the year.

Nevertheless, I do want Vettel to win once more, purely to see Arrivabene go hillclimbing.

One swallow does not a summer make. When we look back on this season, we'll see Merc had a couple of bad races, and dominated the rest. Any other team would bite your arm off for that. You can't win championships picking up crumbs here and there.

How long do we have to keep these awful awful races, Singapore, has it even been memorable?

Singapore is incredibly important to the sponsors. More so than Monaco these days, given the different sponsors and the markets they operate in (Asia).

If I had to choose between the two I'd take Singapore every time. It is on the short list for tracks to visit next year, alongside Montreal and Austria.

I think the tourism from the Singapore GP is incredibly important to Singapore as it is, so I don't think the race is going anywhere.

I like the track, the races may not be so exciting, but every track has its off day.

Looks like Jenson IS retiring this year, absolutely gutted. Wish he'd have stayed with Brawn / Merc so much. :|

Apparantly he'll be racing in Le Mans, Endurance and have a role on the new Top Gear show.

Kevin Eason /The Times reporting it too.

"Jenson Button is on the verge of quitting his 16-year career in Formula One after a disastrous final season.
Button is said to have made up his mind to take the decision into his own hands to walk away from the struggling McLaren Honda team. Jessica, his wife, and Richard Goddard, his close friend and manager, are said to have been instrumental in the decision, which could be announced within days."
