Singapore Grand Prix 2015, Marina Bay - Race 13/19

They were saying something along the lines of how we should feel sorry for Lewis... Like what? He's had, by far and away, the fastest car of the grid by miles under him for the past 18 months and we should feel sorry for him because he was beat, in one qualifying day, fair and square?

Absolutely brilliant lap by Vettel, I am disappointed with the Mercs though. Hamilton will definitely be aggressive tomorrow and it will make for an interesting race to see him fight his way from behind the front row.

I am a Hamilton fan and still hoping he can win.

As for Button I can see him moving to Sky to be a presenter for F1 but I'd much rather see him on the track.

Mercedes aero not as good as it was in Monaco?

What a turnaround.

If the Ferrari engine catches up to Mercedes next year, we have a fight for the title.

Red Bull might even be up there with a Ferrari engine.

A pity they cut some of the beginning and end. JB crouching down to pretend to be off camera at the end!

Whatever the outcome, he's talking like a man who's comfortable with his decision. I'd love him to have another season, not least to try and get some reward from this horrible season, but I think he's reconciled with himself that now's the time to go and do something more rewarding than drag the worst car on the grid in 2016 (Manor doesn't count - it is last year) round the tracks where he's had something much better at his disposal.

On the race, I'd love to see Ricciardo jump Vettel at the start. That could herald a fantastic race.

You be surprised! It's a couple of psi on a tire that's only at about 16psi in total.

I can feel 2psi difference in my car on track, and I run up at 30ish. 2psi on an F1 tyre is masses! On a 23 corner track they are only losing 0.065 of a second out of each corner.

Imagine if it was Red Bull that was winning all the time and then 1 race after getting caught with Tyre pressure irregularities they went backwards. I imagine this thread would be 150 pages long by now.

Hilarious interview with Button - brilliant form! Ron must be chewing on some wasps watching that.

It's as though he knows he's getting the boot. Personally I think they would keep him, as they won't be able to lure another top driver but they can't page his wage demands any longer. Ron must be gutted he can't boot him out.

Haha miss those days!
