Sir Patrick vs Cordon

Even if you guys don't like Cordon, Patrick Stewart was by far more in the wrong.

He tried to pick an argument and ended up looking like an absolute bell end.

Awards ceremonies aren't really the place to pratt about like a 12 year old child, which is what fatboy is. A desperate media hungry non entity. I can't believe there are enough dimwitted people on this planet to think he is even slightly popular.
 
I wonder how many people slating Corden in here also say how much they love Gavin and Stacey! :P

I don't mind Corden myself, but I do think he was in the wrong to show such a low level of respect. Sir Patrick should have left it after the first comment, but let's face it, he is an absoloute hero and legend and we all love him :)

It was more tongue in cheek - obviously wont apply to everyone, just seems a lot of people jumping on the anti-corden bandwagon and as such blaming him regardless.

As I said they are both at fault really - and actually, is it really newsworthy? I suppose what is these days!

I like the show, but he clearly wrote the character of Smithy in his own image. Since the show aired, whenever I see him on anything he is just being Smithy. Being a tool in the show works for the show, being a tool in real life is just being a tool.

As yet i've not been able to endure anything else he's done, least of all the things with the England team.
 
I know a couple of people that went to school with Corden, and he (according to them) has been such a plank his entire life. His character (Smithy) isn't a "character" at all, he is exactly like that, all of the time.
 
The funniest bit of the whole exchange is the people on ocuk who thought 'dieing on stage' meant that he wanted to see Stewart literally die.

Then they have the front to call someone else ignorant ;)

Thought the whole exchange was cringeworthy.

Even if he had of been the more professional and dignified, he would still get no points although I accept it was perhaps tongue in cheek.

While he has his fan base, to me he is just one of many in the talentless hive that is British celeb culture whose only real talents are lack of talent and thieving air.

This is one of those shows the Doris reckons I have to watch, I watched it & as usual it was complete Crap.
O look I am eating fifty pies !

Complete & utter rubbish.

For the Dude that says Women like him, Well unfortunetly some Women haven't the decency to choose a Man for himself & use them to climb the ladder.

For those that are saying Patrick is wrong they need to watch the Full vid not just the clip.
Patrick is a Gent & a Very talented actor & No I don't watch ******* Star trek.

I saw him host Buzzcocks and I got quite annoyed, massive fail.
 
Nowt mate but I don't want people thinking my comments are Star Trek fan based.
I am commenting strictly on the way Patrick carrys himself, Like an Old fashioned English Gent. :cool:
