I agree.

Priced up some spacers, around £50 for hubcentric ones. Wasn't expecting to have to buy them however I'm happy with the front ride height so just to make sure there is no scrubbing at all I'm happy to buy them.

Pretty much done with adjustments now I think. Need to leave it a week or so and see if it settles any more.

Will do. It's sitting on the drive most of the week now as I want to get the spacers on before I drive it any distance. Also need to get exhaust looked at whilst its being aligned, there's a blow from one of the joints somewhere!

What Coilovers did you go for Phil? I have AP's in mine. They're pretty harsh but handle well.

Mines (vRS,2002) going in to skoda tomorrow to get 4 new coil packs with thanks to VW's 1.8T Recall :p

I'm hoping they don't complain about the remap, 3" turboback and TIP upgrades.

They won't notice, they'll just check they need changing and do it!

They are Prosport (previously Jamex IIRC). Several vRS owners on Briskoda already have them and gave positive feedback so I thought I'd give them a go.

The spacers have arrived as well as my Whiteline 24mm RARB (joint bday present from Wifey/Mother). No fitting until Fri/Sat though as I'm away for the week!

Sits just under the arch, plenty of room between tyre and spring platform now. 5mm wouldn't be enough taking sidewall flex into account. 8mm would be ok though.

Happy now, I can drive without worry :)

Yeah basically taken the car as far as I want to go modification wise now. Only other upgrades I could do is if/when/maybe other parts fail. Hopefully it will be all good though, drives brilliantly, RARB is the icing on the cake :)

Went to the garage yesterday, slight exhaust blow. Also got backbone straightened up as it was on a wonk!

Fitted the RARB today, bit fiddly on your own mind!

Wish it was one of my first mods, not one of my last! Soooo much flatter now when cornering, even feels 'tighter' driving under normal circumstances. Brilliant :)
