Have to say, (touch wood) am very pleased with my new Sky Broadband package, £5 per mnth.

Just seems to be getting better as the days go on!

Tis great getting good speeds over here which is about 2 miles from the exchange, seems like they've sorted there speed issues out.

My Speed has increased quite a lot this weekend. I was getting 280kb/s now im getting 450kb/s - 520kb/s. Really impressed with speed but the reliability is terrible. My connection drops every 3-4 hours. Its terrible but good speed! And cheap!

The LLU is ADSL, and AIUI the IPStream service features traffic shaping and the LLU one doesn't.

Cheers tolien.

I'm tempted by the sky tv, phone and broadband for £30 per month but work from home at the moment and can't risk having pants adsl.

I think I'll wait a little before migrating.

I'm on sky broadband on adsl2 and im very happy with it, don't even get drops £10.00 a month and I always get 500kb/s + speeds on http downloads. Don't download many torrents though.

I work from home and have Sky. Reliabilty has never been an issue for me, well far better than it ever was with Eclipse.

Another gripe I have is lack of static IP's, I don't think having 8 ips is an op.

Anyway, Enta are fine for me at the moment.

It's only 5 useable (1 router, one network, one broadcast) and you have each PC having its own static external IP so there is no need for NAT. Useful if you run 5 web servers at home.
