I tried to sign up to the sky offer at £26, but sky told me that I cant get their bb in my area but i can get another sky bb service to a different price in my area, are they talking BS ????

Nope, sky supply both LLU and standard adsl.

From skybb you can get:

LLU:
Min £0
Mid £5
Max £10

ADSL:
Connect £15

Installing Max on Friday

Latency looks terrible?

May settle after the 10 days though

Upload looks good as does the download

Nah I'm sure they'd get that wrong too some how lol...

If the SkyBB feedback carries on like this I may move over sooner rather than later!!

It was smooth as hell m8

I got home, tiscali was gone

uninstalled

got sky out

plugged in all the neccesary stuff

all the lights came on

installed with the cd

Had about 20 minutes without internet - SICK

So, how to i sync?

I had problem after problem with Tiscali!

hmm, why am I still paying £26 p/m for 8mbps with Nildram if Sky is £5 p/m?

I also found the instructions to be very clear and on the CD they have a great presentation of what you should have done with the equipment

Getting downloads speeds up to 9mb atm
