SKY Fibre!

sky block sites though. what is the Sky usage policy? i know its ex-ukonline/easynet network. ukonline was unlimited..but their speeds began to suffer which is why i ditched them for Be.

btw BT are doing 80mbit soon, they are trialling it atm.

Iv never had any sites blocked via sky, blocked via other means yes (scam/virus protection stuff). There usuage policy on their unlimited LLU/Fibre is unlimited, level 2 techs iv spoken to in the passed have said they do not know of anyone that has ever been warned about useage, so it is trully unlimited.

exactly what i was going to say. He should read the post on page two about posting false info :p

Ive been with sky 5 years now. I dont work for them, i appreciate not everyone wants sky but, at the end of the day i always want sky. it makes sense to have their broadband etc.

Ive never had any blocked sites capping or anything.

Always constant speeds. BT used to yoyo with their packet shaping etc.

fttc = fibre to the cabinet , then copper for the rest of the way
fttp = fibre to the pole, then copper to your home
ftth = fibre to your home, all the way in fibre

Most people will get fttc rollouts, Bt have said if you want to pay for fttp/h yourself you will be able to in a year or so, but at a yet to be determined cost (Prob £1k+)

FTTP = Fiber To The Premises
