Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

@MissChief Could you confirm if Ultrafast plus and Gigafast are covered by the 35% discount in tv and bb deal?
Looks to me like its only the superfast running at 60m/b thats covered but wanted to double check.

Also are my maths right here:
tv and superfast bb pack for £43 after the 35% it would be roughly £28 and then possible £100 cashback making it around £22/month. Or do the cashback and friends and family not stack?

I don’t think the discount is 35% on broadband but it does give a discount. Having said that someone else, @jrwagh333 maybe, said that the normal customer offer works out cheaper at the moment.

Hi Misschief

My sky deal comes to an end next month and they want an extra £30pm

My package is SkyQ
Sky Cinema
Sky HD
Sky Kids
Sky Signature
Ultimate TV addon
Multiscreen as I have two mini boxes
Ultra HD

I pay £65pm and next month they want £93.

Any better deals, please?

Related to this we also have sky superfast broadband and anytime calls in my wifes name. This is now out of contract and we have gone from £50pm to £57. Any way to get a better deal? HAppy to lose landline

Thanks in advance

I only have deals for new customers I’m afraid. Your wife having the broadband does complicate matters. Call and speak to them and if you’re not happy then actually put in your cancellation.

Hi @MissChief, wondering if you can help, my mum has cancelled Sky TV, the cancellation date is couple of weeks from now. She still has broadband contracted until end of May.

Once her TV is cancelled would she be eligible for new/returning customer offers or would the fact she still has broadband with Sky not classify her as new for TV?

Thanks in advance.

Sadly it's 12 months to be classed as a new customer. Give them a call back and ask to speak to retentions again and see what they can do.

Hey @MissChief , got and used a code from you around 12 months ago for my parents.

They are at the end of their contract for TV and BB and even though I have got an email to say prices are not going to go up, I have checked the future bills and they are.

Am I able to renegotiate online? Or start fresh using a F&F code? Not sure how it works form this position.

Theoretically they can’t reuse a new F&F code as they wouldn’t be new customers. you might get an option to chat online if they login and go through the help section and choose to cancel.

Also, is it me or is it increasingly difficult to find SkyQ now on their website. It seems they just want to push Stream.

And then when I do find the SkyQ page (through Google) it won't show me any prices until I sign in. But if I don't have an account, I can't sign in!

It's probably as they have you cookied, open in a private tab and they will think you are a new customer and you can get pricing. I did this today as had to sort out my mum's package.

Her Sky TV finished last week, called the come back to Sky number, straight through to UK call centre instead of India and whole thing done and dusted in 10 mins. Sky Signature and HD for £22 pm for 18 months.

That sounds like what I need to do. Could you DM me the number please?
