Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

It's probably as they have you cookied, open in a private tab and they will think you are a new customer and you can get pricing. I did this today as had to sort out my mum's package.

Her Sky TV finished last week, called the come back to Sky number, straight through to UK call centre instead of India and whole thing done and dusted in 10 mins. Sky Signature and HD for £22 pm for 18 months.

Do you reckon I could call it the month her contract is going to end, so that's she's not without Sky? Or would they not even contemplate talking about it?

Worth a go, the worst they can say is no and you call back later.

My mum's box didn't go off immediately, she had TV for days afterwards, then the recording function stopped but was still picking up channels. Your ma may be unlucky and it goes off straight away but I just made sure mum had access to Freeview on her telly just in case while we were sorting it out.

I did try and get her to move to a Freesat recorder box but she didn't like the TV guide etc.

My parents package is up end of next month. Am I able to cancel online and then wait for offers? Or am I best to speak to online chat saying I am thinking of canceling?

Also, do I have to make sure I have marketing calls allowed? I know I had to for Virgin otherwise they wouldn't call with any offers.

Without marketing calls allowed you would need to initiate any contact. You can go online and see if messaging or chat is available.

@MissChief still nothing on sky stream?

Just got a new 4k OLED and want to watch the cricket coming up this summer.

I don’t want to use a dish so stream is the only way. Any deals on Sky Stream + UHD sports?

No deals for Sky Stream yet. I can give a code for 6 months NOW Sports for £25pm though?
Don’t really fancy signing up for 6 months. I only really watch cricket. I’ll just get the now tv rolling contract and wait for them release some decent stream deals.

Thanks though.
