Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

This thread flew me by. I'm having a right nightmare re-arranging my Mum's contract. Sky have washed their hands of an offer they made a month ago; I got into some word salad about a call back required.

Is there any advice on re-signing for calls and broadband? I am now paying 60 quid almost for out of contract.

Did you get a chance with this? It's not a problem if this is a hassle for you, I'll just go for the half price deal and revisit it in 6 months.

I'll order later tonight if you haven't posted back - and please be assured it's no problem at all if you've got other things to do :)
OK, I have for new NOW customers
Ent+Cinema £12pm for 6 months plus a months free boost.

Ent only for £6 for 6 months, 1 month free boost.

Cinema only for £6pm for 6 months. 1 month free boost

Sports only for £21pm for 6 months, 1 month free boost again.

I have the same deal for existing NOW customers too.

I'll be hopefully moving soon so thinking about Sky, broadband etc.

Potentially even thinking of dropping Sky and the TV license since we don't actually watch anything except CBeebies for the children and then Netflix and Disney for everything else.

Can you send me some deals for Sky/Netflix + Broadband, or just Broadband deals please?

I'll be a new customer for any service.

Looking at moving to sky.

Question about sky stream

Im on virgin currently so have stuff all set up as a series link and just go to the recording.

something like the f1, it records all the practice sessions, quali and race etc and I can just watch when I need
Does sky stream do something similar?

Stream doesn't record anything locally, everything is streamed but you can usually pick up most major channels, in fact pretty much anything they show and start at the beginning within minutes of the live broadcast starting. So you can watch practice, qualifying and the race whenever you like.

Why pick Sky Stream over NowTV? Genuine question BTW.

Don't think Nowtv has all the channels like Sky stream. No 4k, Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision when using apps like Netflix etc. Interface is also just like Q whereas Nowtv is bit different. More responsive etc but comes down to the user. No 4k and sound is enough for me to not use Nowtv :p

I'm still trying to get my head around why people prefer Stream over Q

Personally, I prefer NowTV because I can use it on any device I like without having to rent hardware from Sky to do it. The ability to pay on a month to month basis is also a big factor for me because I work away from home and some months cancel it altogether as I do with Netflix etc.

What I really can't understand is why anyone would even contemplate Sky Glass.
