Use a scart lead going from the sky box to the tv or you won't get a picture when doing this.

Put the sky box on standby then turn it off at the mains, wait 30 seconds, hold the backup button on the sky box and turn the mains switch back on. Keep holding the backup button for 30 seconds and all the lights should come on (on the front of the box) and there should be a message on screen saying its updating. Just leave it for 10 mins and it should go back into standby.

I got the new software when doing this but it might not work on everyones.

I'm sick and tired of accidentally going into the Adult programme guide when I want to go to the Sky+ Planner (pressing up then select).

Tried forcing a manual update and no go... Still on the old 0 for Personal Planner EPG.

My Amstrad V2 Sky+ is done, but my Pace V3 Sky+ still isn't.

Parents' + box has been upgraded for a few days... Our normal Panasonic box hasn't, but I haven't checked today or yesterday.

Normal Sky boxes won't be done until all the Sky+ boxes have been done I don't think.

Only Problem I've got is I'm currently using a Sky+ Box as a normal Sky Box (We're saving a bit o money so have the + bits turned off, and a Basic Program Package!!!)... and we can't set any reminders!... If we press Green or (in the Program guide) Select it assumes we want to Record the program and tells us we cant do that and gives us a Phone number!...

I don't wanna Record (I know I can't at the mo) I just wanna set a reminder so I don't miss Atlantis or summut!!!...
