sky sapping internet?

Every time we have had a problem with Sky we just phone up to cancel and they always do whatever we want for free! We have Sky HD for an extra 50p per month and a free Sky+ HD box :)
 
Don't be so dramatic. If the Sky is stopping your broadband from working and the Sky installer did it, tell them in no uncertain terms and they will be out to fix it. Just don't be fobbed off, make sure an engineer calls FOR FREE and they fix it before they leave. They are not providing their service as has been mentioned which means that their contract with you isn't valid. They can't make you pay £30 a month and if you cancel because of breach of contract then you won't be liable either. Just make sure you explain to them that it is their fault your broadband is not working properly.
 
going back to my original post.. about double filtering.. if its just slow speeds when your skybox is plugged into the phoneline.. plug a second filter into the first filter.. plug the skybox into the second filter and the broadband into the first filter..

if its another issue ie.. you have no tv at all through the skybox.. call up sky they'll send an engineer round to put things right.
 
sky said they where sending an engineer tomorrow, there where supposed to ring tonight about what time...

edit : phoned sky there guy is coming around 12-5

all storted, sky are not fining us, some wireing still not fixed but sky all works brought in new filter for my router and i am getting a higher download speed now and sky gave me a new filter for that.

thanks to all those that helped me out ;)
