Sky Sports to remain home of Formula 1 until 2029 after deal extended in all Sky markets

I tried F1TV via VPN last year and it was a faff because I had trouble paying due to my card not being from the country I was subscribing in. It did work eventually in the Netherlands despite not seeming to work and getting warnings about no support and no refunds. Plus running a VPN on the device while watching F1 was a faff every time. This year I just watched the channel 4 coverage and I prefer the presenting team on there by far plus having the ability to record it on my Youview box and watch it when I want, skip the adverts and in HD all for free.

If you don't like what Sky are doing to TV sport and I really don't then vote with your feet. If not many people watched on Sky the contract would not have been extended.

I think I'm still getting the old deal they had way back when Sky started broadcasting F1. Instead of being part of Sky Sports, they bundled it with the 'HD pack' which was £10.
This still annoys me, I had this but when I was made redundant, removing that HD pack was something I did to save a few quid. In the long run, it's cost me a lot more :(

Whereas I would take them up on this as F1TV and VPN was a faff last year, but haven't received any offers. Especially trying to explain it all to the missus!

Yeah, It think if you only watch on devices which are easy to configure with a VPN, F1TV is probably the way to go, but Now TV at least supports a few devices and is mostly trouble free to use.

Didn’t have a problem with F1TV and VPN on my fire stick last season, I’d happily give the money to Sky if they offered a better priced product here.

Hopefully they send me that by the weekend. Was this on email or logging in to Now TV?
I never received an email offer and nothing was showing up in my offers but I found this deal on the NowTV forums.
