I have just bought the VR Version of Skyrim (i don't own the flat version)

and i am rather disappointed

worse that i expected

Graphics are nothing like i was expecting
bit Janky

Vendetta i cant find how to disable
Controls are bad

Is there something im missing here ?
i thought i was going to love this game
oblivion (non VR) was fantastic

so far a let down

well, i must say, the FUS mod has certainly made the game more tolerable now

everything i mentioned has improved

Will try mad dog next, hmm, going to need a bigger drive soon ! haha

Nexus API Limits

Wabbajack uses the Nexus Mods API in order to automatically download files (only available with a Nexus Mods Premium account). The API has a limit to restrict the number of automated interactions a user account can have with the site in a given time frame in order to help mitigate the site being impacted by massive volumes of requests.

If you run out of API calls you will have to wait until they reset or manually download missing mods and put them in your downloads folder.

API allocations reset daily at Midnight UTC-timezone

This is a limitation imposed by Nexus Mods and cannot be circumvented or changed by Wabbajack.

WHAT ?

Always run through the Mod manager, not directly from Steam or it won't work. You can create a desktop shortcut that runs the modded version.

that is actually how i just did it
i was a prisoner ? lol no idea what or how, but anyway, looks great, but does not run very well at all, i think I will re do my game install

I think because I downloaded the adult version (said it was the only version now?)
And i did not verify my age. So those parts may not be downloaded correctly causes issues. I will try the S F W version

Look at videos from VR Dad. He gives easy guides on how to set it up and get great performance. It should run pretty well on your 5080. You just need to change a few settings in the performance tab in the mod manager. And enable DLSS in the settings. Not the Skyrim settings but the mod settings. You press the "end" key in game to configure it. Just watch the guide, it explains everything very clearly.

Thanks ill check it out

im a little confused now

the one mad dog overhaul I downloaded the other day, in wabbajack it told me i needed to verify my age
game loads up and yes its certainly more adult orientated game because a lady i cam across was in a bikini

but the file name on my PC says "SFW" (safe for work) so i dont know what version i have..

Well, download history says NSFW
so ill re download the SFW version..

Should be one of the optional mods in the FUS modlist. Turn on OpenComposite, and select VDXR in Virtual Desktop streamer.
I use H264+ on my Pro, at max bitrate as I find that gives the best quality. AV1 is an option on Q3.

oh im playing mad dog now, FUS runs perfectly fine without any tweaks

i tried to get it working all evening, refused to work

so ive uninstalled mods and skyrim

ive verified my age this time (when i tried to install SFW MDO it asked for age) so stopped download and verified via nexus mods

so now all seems to be installing correctly,
when i installed the mod via wabbajack i had a little window of the nexus mod website, so i logged into that (and including under settings)

so fingers crossed
